The Stihl FR460TC-EFM backpack brushcutter is fitted with STIHL ElectroStart as standard, for comfortably restarting the tool at the touch of a button. Also comes with an additional pull starter with STIHL ErgoStart for starting at temperatures below 0°C. Features the Stihl anti-vibration system, multi-function handle, loop handle and a 2-MIX engine with the M-Tronic, stop button, tool bag, detachable shaft. The shaft can be detached without the use of tools for easy storage and transportation.

STIHL 2-MIX engine with stratified charge system

The STIHL two stroke engine with 2-MIX technology ensures a high power output and excellent torque levels while reducing fuel consumptioon by up to 20%*. It combines a four-channel cylinder with a stratified charge system. Exhaust emissions are also lowered by up to 70%*. The engine is compliant with EU II European emissions standard. (*Compared with STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same power output without 2-MIX technology. Percentages may vary depending on model.)

STIHL ErgoStart (E)

Easy starting is achieved by an additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord reel. One smooth, steady pull is all it takes for reliable starting of power tools fitted with STIHL ErgoStart. Standard with all CE models.

Anti-vibration system

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
