Powerful high-voltage shredder for branch material

The STIHL electric shredder GHE 260 S shreds hard branches and twigs into small chippings in seconds. The powerful blade shredder also tackles branches with a maximum diameter of 40 mm effectively and with minimum effort. Pre-shredders, shredding blades and reversible cutting blades are perfectly arranged within the integrated sandwich-type blade unit. The efficient motor smoothly transfers power to the Multi-Cut blade disc. It also operates with high voltage, allowing you to conveniently shred large quantities of branches. Here, you can simply use the wide opening on the inclined feed chute. The feed chute is soundproofed and fitted with a splash guard for improved working comfort. Provided there is a power supply in the immediate vicinity, the shredder is extremely mobile thanks to its transport wheels.

Soundproofed feed chute

• The large feed chute facilitates feeding of the STIHL shredder. The soundproofed feed chute reduces working noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated spray protection provides a shield against swirling dirt.

Safety lock

• The electromagnetic safety lock prevents the garden shredder from starting automatically during maintenance operations or when the blade is being changed, for example. The safety switch is integrated in the opening mechanism on the STIHL shredder. As soon as the closure screws on the machine are unscrewed, the safety switch is tripped and the current flow is interrupted.

Multi Cut 150 cutting system

• The Multi Cut 150 cutting system on the STIHL electric shredder consists of a soundproofed blade disc with sandwich construction and reversible cutting blades. The sandwich-type blade unit is ideal for shredding medium-sized branches.

Touch pad switch

• The housing of the STIHL shredder is fitted with a touch pad switch and an operating indicator to allow simple and intuitive operation of the garden shredder.
